I have often run a Euphonic-Audio NL-210 (vertical) over an EA CXL112 with excellent results but I'll be danged if I am going to tell anyone about it!

Only two strings away from an attitude problem.
I run a 1x15 over a 4x10 and I don't care if they don't like it. The company that manufactured the head marketed it as a configuration, and I like the sound I get. Plus, I'm kinda into the whole zombie thing anyhow. 
For anyone who's interested, and can complete the required "double tap" to kill off the zombies, I have a brief review of my 210/115 setup in the amps forum under the Carvin Microbass Owner's Club thread.

I, too, like my 210+115 combo (they're even mismatched, so bring on the hordes, I have plenty of ammo).
Two weeks ago I put out an ad on CL for a female singer. At first I got a few nibbles, but no real takers. This past Sunday, however, changed that. I got a solid bite from a singer that has a nice voice, but unfortunately our practice schedule doesn't work for her. Another singer emailed me, saying that she lives in the area of where we practice, and submitted her only recording - my guitarist is smitten with her. She can be heard here: Link Removed
Within 12 hours of her email came another email from a different singer. This one has a ton of singing experience with bands within our genre. She can be heard here
We're auditioning both on Sunday (at separate times, of course). I'm excited!

last couple of gigs and the one coming up, I've been playing through the front of the house. My pre-amp setups for bass guitar and upright weigh about 5 lbs. between them.
It was indeed a leap to move away from big bass cabs. But I actually think that in many venues it is a better mix from the audience's viewpoint if you go FOH with the rest of the band.
This was a major change, and I have the gear to go back if needed. But it's working pretty well right now.

I'd love to, if the venues that we played were big enough to need a FOH PA system.
I had a 210 cab and it just didn't fit the voice, um, I mean sound that I hear in my head. Now I'm running a single 15" and it gives me the sound that I was after.

I usually go 1 or 2 10s for stage volume and DI through the PA to round out the sound.
On a big outdoor stage I sometimes drag the big rig out - 300w tube amp, 2x10, 2x12, with a midrange driver and horn.
Don't need no stinking PA support then. But I always take it.

I have that problem too, had to up my nighttime meds. it sucks needing pills to sleep, but if i don't take them i just flat out don't sleep and that's not worth it at all after a few days.
Alright...so I have this weird issue that I'm not entirely sure how to deal with...
A couple months ago, the S.O. (vox, guitar) and I were playing with a drummer. We've since moved on to a different drummer, so we haven't played with former drummer for a few weeks. When we played with former drummer, we introduced him to a few of our original songs...five with vocals and three without. So, today, S.O. gets a text from former drummer saying that he had recorded some of the practices(without our knowledge), and played them for the new band that he is playing with. They liked them, so they decided to play three of them out. Now, these are our original songs that they are out playing. I guess I'm a little flattered that someone wanted to "cover" our songs, but mostly I just feel violated...like really violated...and for those of you that know me well, you know that takes a LOT! Am I over reacting here? He really has no rights to any of our songs just because he played drums on them a few times, does he? To me, that just seems like a severe lack of integrity, and show of poor musicianship. These are our original songs. Aside from telling them to stop, I don't know what else to do.

I would be ticked off, too. I would, as politely as you can muster, tell them to stop, since the former drummer did not seek prior consent to playing songs that you and your husband wrote.
Yeah, I have a politely composed email...I suppose he potentially didn't realize that what he was doing was wrong...idk...
that's not the same as copyrighting them. It's not that hard to copyright them, you should look into it.
