Let's see with 6.3 people psm in Australia and 73p psm our population is 14 times more than yours it's also less likely you'd even kill someone or even see one.

Seems like crime gas risen since ban
gun crime australia since ban - Google Search

Crime has risen, but if you read further into the article, you will see that firearm-related deaths had dropped by almost 50% from 1991-2001, which was when the buyback occured following the 1996 Port Arthur shooting. Something which worked IMO, the numbers show a decrease in firearm-related violence/deaths. There is not necessarily a correlation between a rise in crime and the ban.

You are right in the sense that our country is far less densely populated than the USA when you look at the numbers, but about 95% of our country is uninhabitable. So the coastlines are densely populated, probably just as much as most cities over there in the states.
Have I seen guns on the streets of Australia being used? No.
Will I ever see it? Probably not.

The day I need to carry or own a gun to protect myself from the rest of the population of Australia for the simple fact that they are all allowed to own guns is the day that I move out of this country.
Maybe Vanuatu, I hear the weather is pretty nice all year around :D

"A little moan"? According the guy on the video, she CUSSED OUT her parents on Facebook.

I think that's actually in Webster's as the very definition of "a little moan", as anything on Facebook is incredibly transient and quickly forgotten, especially as the post in question was only open to her friends, who had probably heard it all before anyway.

I think what he did was awesome!

Well, quite.

I always find it amusing when parents complain about how lazy, entitled and bratty their children are.

Exactly who do they have to blame for that circumstance?

His words and actions in the video are rife with additional irony.

I've thought that from the start. It's a little hard to imagine teaching a lesson in economics and responsibility by shooting up a laptop that was recently upgraded. Who really lost out? She didn't buy it.

If it's true... I find it alarming that he procreated. If not, well done sir. Your 15 minutes is up, however. Buh-bye.

This guy has serious control issues. No wonder his daughter's rebelling.

Everything about this video SCREAMS that this guy has a drill sergeant's view of raising children and is getting the results he has created. Guaranteed that if his daughter goes to college, it will be as far away from dad as it's physically and economically possible to be.

I predict a lonely old age for him.

I predict his daughter's first job will involve a floor to ceiling brass pole and a name change to Misty.

Her response was “Dude… it’s only a computer. I mean, yeah I’m mad but pfft.” She actually asked me to post a comment on one of the threads (and I did) asking what other job fields the victims of laptop-homicide were eligible for because she wasn’t too keen on the stripping thing.

Sounds like this 15 year old girl can roll with it better than the Talk Bass knitting club.
