When I bought a new truck I tried the "you made me buy this" on my wife. I'm still in a body cast.

Yeah my first thought was that this was a Harris with the mirrored pickguard removed. I actually prefer the look with this pickguard.
I have a MIM Precision I picked up used for $200 and dug so much that I sold my American Standard (although my top recording basses remain my 57 and 62 American Vintage Reissues). The MIMs are great value and great basses across the board.
I had a pbass special(iirc it had a jazz neck), it was ok but made me realize that I prefer standard p necks... I much prefer the older MIJ ones to any American ones I've played though, so maybe nowadays id get on well with a MIM!!??
oh yeah, I much prefer maple over rosewood for fretboards, much brighter tone... Yeah, the OP scored on that one!!

I recently traded an MIA strat for an MIM Pbass. I lost money in the deal but got rid of a guitar I never play and got a bass that will get played a lot. I need a LPB one now.
I have the Squier Matt Freeman P. Thinking about adding a Fender to the collection. I was looking into Modern Basses because I don't really have one in my collection but the simplicity of the P, the tone that will cut through a brick wall, etc.....I kind of want another.
You guys are starting to wear me out.

Nice! I'd rock that if I was getting a P. That looks like a Jeff Babicz bridge from the picture, I know you said it's a Leo Quan, either way it's a nice upgrade, if it's a Babicz I love 'em, put them on the couple Js I have.
