Damnation Audio Fan/Appreciation Thread

Sorry if I missed this..

I’ve just received new MDB-3 and I’m loving it! I’m a RTFM kind of guy, and I can’t find a place where the function of each control know is explained. The website and enclosed instructions are for a knob set labeled Gain-Level-Tone-Boost-Clean-Depth. The pedal itself has knobs for Volume-Tone-Drive-Blend-Boost-Depth. Are the knobs on the pedal just re-named, or do they do different things?

Level = volume
Gain = drive
Clean = blend

Also planning on ordering one when funds allow, though I'll hate parting with my trusty MBD-2.

Apologies if this has already been mentioned - does the "Boost" switch on the new one work whether or not the distortion is engaged? Because being able to use this as a clean-ish boost and two flavors of distortion would be huge for me. It is absolutely not a dealbreaker if not.

The boost is part of the drive circuit. They aren't independent effects in one box. However, you can set the main drive to be lower gain and function like a boost and then use the boost function to turn the pedal into a distortion.

I got some notice from USPS saying I need to add more postage. It must be the address I'm at now. I've had this happen twice with USPS since I've been here. I have a feeling the town I live in has odd land lines. If I put my address in, it'll auto guess my address, which is correct, but it always comes up in the town right next to me. Makes me think the apt complex I live in straddles the line of the 2 towns. But it's def frustrating. Now I'm not sure when my 3 will be here.

USPS sucks now :vomit: I used to use them all the time for shipping and rec pedals, which used to be quite a lot. Rarely had issues over a handful of years. Now it seems like every other thing I use them for, there's some kind of issue that either delays shipping or asks me for more money to complete the shipment. It's gotta be my location/address...
