Practice got canceled tonight. I'll see if I can't get clips of the Spite Box and the Amp Grinder. Do y'all have any requests? Just on and off? In a mix? Just bass and drums? I mostly play fingerstyle but can use a pick if that helps anyone.

Don't forget the P-bass, flats, fedora, and Hawaiian shirt! Oh - and sandals! All integral components of "the tone".
In all seriousness, I have no idea what the Spite Box sounds like, so I'd just want something that gives a basic idea of its tonal profile. I'm fairly familiar with Rats, and my preference is for something with some bite and clarity, but also heft. Some single tone that can do equally well in all sorts of heavy applications. I also prefer to play fingerstyle, but that is entirely up to your discretion. I just know that it would help my specific use scenario!
And honestly, if there's anything that sets them apart from other similar tones. What makes these specific boxes unique? I'm pretty set for all sorts of dirt, and while I'm sure these are both amazing, I'd like to know what they can do that others can't. As much as I absolutely LOVE the new-to-me Locust Star, it's virtually identical tonally to my Volt Thrower on my preferred settings. What will make these different enough to warrant a purchase?
...or no demos and you can save my GAS and pocketbook... Just sayin'...

Oof - man - definitely too much for my taste! I'm not generally a fan of fuzz that gets too aggressive. But it certainly nails that tone, and with no bass loss I could hear. Thanks for the clips!
I always love how Andy's clean tone is dirtier than a lot of people's dirt tone.
Alright. Didn't have a lot of time but was able to get something down with some old scratch tracks.
dunable thunderclapper - broughton omnicomp - damnation audio amp grinder - quad cortex (eq, GK800 + SVT810 IR) - interface - no post on bass track, bass only.

This sounded great, even through my phone speaker.
Very dirty bass only.
Less dirty bass and drums.
Thickens the mix with bass, drums and guitar.
The low gain settings you can get out of the Amp Grinder are very cool BTW.
I fired it up at practice and went noon and above on the distort, cuz that's how we do, BUT there are some secret preampy tones in there.
From 7 o'clock to just under 9 o'clock it gets that amp that's about to start smoking lower gain sound. Then the blend lets you sculpt and define the low end content.
Shame I haven't tried other Rat style pedals this way (thanks to @KevyKev for the notion), but I could see a pair of Amp Grinders working in tandem set to low and high gain respectively.
