The 'storter and dist2 have some overlap, but still have a certain something that separates them.
CD2 more midrange-y at low gain depth off.
BPD more balanced and brighter.
Definitely prefer the variable depth of the BPD.
High gain tones definitely have their own thing going on.
There's a certain difference in grittiness.
Those Amp Grinder clips sound great! I used the Grinder at practice the other night in a very low tuned (A) goregrind band, and it fit perfectly. I've been going through various Rats and other distortions lately, and this has been the best fit, quite possibly going to be "the one" for this project. It can be dialed into be quite bright, but that's exactly what I needed to cut through some dense guitars. I ran a high pass at around 80hz and Empress Bass Comp before it, into an SVTCL/810.
I am incredibly impressed with the Amp Grinder and MBD. I'm probably going to order the Spite Box and Fuzz Enforcer soon, even though I've never been a Big Muff guy.

My signal chain has an MBD3 and a Rusty Box running all the time. The Spite Box replaced a muff clone and I doubt it's going back. I'm still trying to figure out where I'm going to use it with the band.
Edit: I was not running my normal signal when doing those clips. I was only using my comp and the AG to showcase it. I definitely sounds different with my normal use.
There are a couple of other takes on the same circuit available. The EAE Greathammer and the Broughton Helion are just two. Both were in the classies. Not sure anymore.I have a Rusty Box on preorder at the moment but no idea when it’s expected.
Having said that, I have the Greathammer and had the Helion. Neither one does exactly what the RB does so well.
As has been said, the Spite Box is no muff, but I actually like it with the octave rolled all the way off. In that setting it took the place of a modified muff circuit I had been using. It is a head turner of a fuzz. The Fuzz Enforcer has enough on offer that it really does not feel like just another muff either.
Alright. I hope I did these correctly. I did a quick off/on with my "clean" tone. It's probably better to just say always on.

Yeah, he's right. It's a rehoused Steel Leather. It's really silly, but I unintentionally ended up with all black pedals years ago, so I just sort of kept it up. I had to make the Steel Leather black. The Fuzz Enforcer is dark enough, but if a black version comes out, I'd have to get it so I can have one on my live/home board and one on my practice space board.
For any that can compare, are the Spite Box and Sunder Fuzz 10th Anniversary more similar than different, or more different than similar?
