I'm trying to sell my Curmudgeon at the moment. Doesn't seem a huge market for it in Australia.
Got lucky and these both arrived today.
The Amp Grinder sounds awesome. While my low output pickups don't get the MBD into crazy territory on their own, between the clean and the depth control the MBD has some booty on it.
This reflects my feelings accurately

Just wanted to give a shout and a HUGE thanks to @father of fires for fixing my mbd2 that I fried by accidentally feeding it 18v while swapping some things around. He refused to let me pay him for the fix which I would have gladly done. That is some top notch customer service and we are lucky to have him around to help us make beautiful noise. Thank you sir!!
Spite box is my favorite bass fuzz. I haven't found anything that gets close to it at all without needing a dirt fixer or stacking several pedals at once
I couldn't possibly agree more. I actually need a second one for any time I put together a smaller board. It's indispensable.
I just bought an EAE Greathammer. I'll have to try it with the MBD3.
The MBD has been my always on since the day I got it.
But I just bought an Amp Driver and (at least for the time being) surprisingly took over that job. Run with light gain it is perfect for my core tone.
I wonder if a curmudgeon 3 could work, by simply replacing the depth switch, with the new contoured clean blend.

Aion TS50B/Great hammer/bass driver into MBD3 into Spite box has been my core tone for around 3 years now.
I vastly prefer a Ts50b first in line. the clanky edge of breakup tones fall apart a little if pedals are pushed into its gain stages, but sending that to other pedals really works to stay in the clang zone

Discontinued no. Out of stock yes. Perfect Circuit just ordered the last one in stock. CME bought some a few weeks ago.
New Amp Grinder is in place. Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah! It's massive.
The Fuzz Enforcer showed up today! ....I've been itching to try this one.
I've been really digging the Amp Grinder - it's taken over the medium gain drive sound on my main board. It sounds especially cool running an octaver through, the low-passed clean blend makes sure it keeps some meat and doesn't get totally washed out.
@whoismarykelly My only feedback for a revision would be to put some more available output gain on the clean blend so it can push that signal well above unity. In some higher gain drive settings, I found myself maxing it out and wanting more to keep up with the drive volume.
