Only drawback to that is phase switch doesn't sound the same on different pedals. I guess you'd have to pick pedals that all work on the same phase toggle position, or kneel down and toggle the phase while playing.

Yeah the neck is somewhat concerning to me in that I may not be able to use different drop tunings like I may want to. I am used to playing on a variety of necks. I have and play on a regular basis, a P, J, PJ and an ATK. I prefer a wider neck like a P bass or my ATK. But I do have a lot of fun on J necks too. It's one of those things I just won't know till I get it in my hands. Worse case, i can just just swap the neck out. Just one thing awesome about Fenders. Oh, this will actually be my first "true Fender". I have all heavily modded Squiers. I love how 70's basses look though. Those jazzes are so sexy!
Good point. I will try toggling the phase, with the other pedal in the loop off, to see what happens. My board is rather small, so maybe I just lucked out.

I've been on a bit of a dirt quest recently, and have gone through a host of pedals, none of which have checked all the boxes for what I'm after. Last night I placed an order for an MBD-1. I'm hopeful that it will deliver the goods. The clips of it online sound fantastic.
Maybe you could add another loop? Loop 1 and 2 are each offset by the phase switch. That or buy another Loop Blender
I'm cautiously optimistic about this one. After going through a Darkglass VMT, Pike Vulcan, Darkglass Microtubes X, Strymon Sunset, and probably some others that I'm forgetting at this point I'm getting a little exhausted when it comes to finding a dirt pedal that works for my needs. This thing definitely has IT on some of the clips I've heard.

Looks like Tuesday is going to be a good day. The MBD-1 and a green russian fuzz I picked up cheap used will both be here. I plan to make the flat mids mod to the GR, no dial.
You’re pretty much running one half my dirt section. The muff and MBD. I got the same mods done to my muff. I like it even more now. Great combo!

Little update. Got it on Sunday and it's awesome. Little issue with the activation light always being on so I'm going to send it back to get fixed. Already talked to Jeff, he's a class act guy.
I’m stoked on this rig and I can’t wait to run damnation goodness through it.
