Damnation Audio Fan/Appreciation Thread

I just bought a MBD-1.

Are there any good fuzzes that the mbd will stack well into? I’ve tried it with a muff but it gets a little too boomy, I could try it with my TAFM..

Flip it. Go muff > MBD and find the gold at the end of the rainbow. Even if you use the MBD as an OD or mild distortion, it takes fuzz and makes it better...

Hot Dang- how’s that Nunez working out for you? (HUGE fan of the Annex)

Ah man, I've had my sights on an Annex Bass Channel for a while now. That Annex on your board is the first I'd seen and I think you're one of the few that has one.. I've gotten a little wiser with flipping so I'm hoping I can get my hands on one sometime real soon

So far the Dual Range is getting the job done. I still love its valve-like quality. It pulls the wet blanket off the tone and its like injecting everything with performance enhancers. The HPF boost is a cutting tool. Much like with the Loop Blender my signal isn't the same without it!

Stoked to hear it— between it & the BLOOP, I’m feeling really bummed to be gear poor. Both are fully on my radar though!
The Bass Channel’s been fantastic with my Jazzmaster as well. Super versatile.

Had my eyes on that one for a while now, the bassist from teenage wrist uses one.
Sick. Hands down the most crazy good fuzz I’ve ever had the pleasure of playing— hard to tame (the LOUDEST pedal I’ve ever owned) but fantastic overall. I definitely recommend it, if you’re looking for a solid fuzz tone. It paired well with every pedal I threw at it, including my MBD-1. If you happen to own a BOSS OC-2, you’ll be in heaven!

Not sure if size is an issue for you @Maxfenderbass but the Diobolik is just a scaled down version of the B:ASSMASTER. Just to let you know (maybe you knew that already). I know I had a Diobolik once but I kept the B:ASSMASTER because it has more high mid cut. But yes, def a bad a$$ and all it's own. That's one fuzz that keeps surviving the never ending flipping saga.

Well then I guess I am getting it haha
