Darkglass Anagram Multi FX Announced

I'm thinking of using my Anagram alone. And selling my HX stomp, my Empress, and my Cioks power supply. The big problem is that I can't see myself putting this pedal on the floor...without a cover. But I'll put a cover on it; it won't fit in its bag anymore. The bag fits nicely in my bass gig bag. Any solutions, guys?

Today I had my first gig with the Darkglass Anagram. I used it standalone in combination with IEM via XLR direct to FOH.

It worked all fine, had a great sound and got compliments from my band members. It was a bit of challenge to finetune the output level of the unit to our mixing station and get a similar level as my analogue pedal board, but everything went fine.

I used one preset in stomp mode to switch my parallel path with distortion on/off, room reverb on/off and vintage overdrive on/off

My signal chain is inspired by:
Used a combination of two cabs and added a parallel low pass / high pass path (similar to my Tyler deluxe on my analogue board)

One improvement point - for which I am not sure if it is already possible - would be a possibility to lock a specific preset during a gig and to prevent switching to another preset. One way or another I managed - in stomp mode - to switch to another preset with a much lower volume. Took me one song to find out the cause.

Long story short: I am really happy with the Anagram. It is my first multifx (next to Zoom B3N I only use at home) and it easily can replace my analogue pedalboard with quite complex routing. It is small, powerful and very versatile.

Just learned from another user that you can change the view between chain / bindings / name. The name view is what I was looking for: a simple view with clear description of the stomp modes.

Maybe I missed it, but in my user preset browser only 15 factory presets were in (01A till 05C). Did not know that you can also switch to factory in preset manager with also banks 6A till 12C filled with a huge variety of presets. Going to check out how they sound 🙂

Initially I wasn't super interested since I felt like all the sounds were going to skew very modern. I've heard a few demos since, and those, along with what seems like an amazing UI have me interested. I'm still going to wait and see what others think, but might be something for down the road a bit.

Is there an update log for the device available anywhere online? I think I might be interested in this after a few updates and further development, depending what they add. I see a few people mentioning an update is out already but I can't see any mention of what it adds/does (I'm assuming just early bug fixes)

Mine arrived.

basically it needs to replace the mini-board that i use (below the Anagram), I'm not asking too much beside that and that it takes less space and simplified the whole fiddling process

Sometime I switch the filter pedal by an octaver so the Anagram should give me that flexibility.

Hope I can get is ready soon so I can sell the pedal to finance it (cause this one hurt and was NOT a purchase I had planned in the household budget)

Looking forward to hearing how you get on with the envelope filter.
