Darkglass Anagram Multi FX Announced

Bro that sounds huge! What's the pedal in your FX loop?
Thank you! It took me quite a while to get there. I was a little surprised that a lot of the amp blocks don‘t get gritty, e.g. the Ampeg and the Gallien Krueger are mere tone stacks and stay always clean. But good ol‘ @IvanBassist gave me the tip to check out the Super Cali. In this patch I have two gain stages: a DCX NAM capture by @pigloaf and a second channel with the RAT and Super Cali with the input cranked! I‘ll incorporate the Animato for sure! Need more scenes or the ability to program footswitches.

I've got one on order, if the latency is as low as they say it is, and not what Leo Gibson says it is, then this is going to be sweet. I'll post numbers when I get them by comparing the delta between my RNDI into my interface against the ANAGRAM into a separate channel.

How does the peggy sound compared to an actual SVT or other pedal emulators? I am trying to figure out if this would work for my cover bands but majority of the demos are all metal (makes sense since it's darkglass). Would def prefer to get this over the quad cortex for size and specializes in bass. Just want to make sure they nailed ampeg and aguilar amp tones.

I'm curious about one thing, I had several e500s, just didn't work all that great. But, this is the first stock bass pre that I think anyway, has a stock Noble DI model in it. I bought one for my Kemper, which I use for every tone I have live...but I'd love to know if the Noble DI in this Anagram is close to the real thing.

I've started a thread dedicated to NAM captures in order to share our captures and help each other capturing our amps and pedals:

I created a specific thread because it could be interesting for Anagram users, but also in a home studio with a DAW, or with other NAM player pedals.

It is. I have the real Noble and the sound is definitely in the same ballpark.

You don’t get as much of that “squishy” / tube compressed sound, but the EQ and overall character is there

The Peggy amp block sounds like an SVT, but unfortunately it’s missing an input control, which would be ideal to push the amp into breaking up and getting some dirt.

I need to confirm once I’m back home, but adding a Gain block before the Peggy should solve that issue. Then again, having the Input Gain inside the amp block itself would be better

Let us know. I think I tested the peggy, the leo bass and the GK blocks and neither of them did break up even with a gain block on full before them. I found that very confusing.

Interesting. Leads me to think they're actually doing component based modeling on those and maybe omitted some too many supply restrictions on the components in an attempt to make the equations easier/faster to compute... If you model/calculate a gain stage without supply restrictions you're basically getting very easy equations and infinite headroom.

Die 3 Deutschen am diskutieren. Herrlich

Yesterday I´ve put a Gain Block in front of everything (Comp, HL, Peggy) and it hasn´t pushed the signal to break up.
I even put the Gain on +15 db, because the Anagram is really quiet. With everything "flat" - so no Level boost in the blocks I don´t even reach the yellow markings on the Output meter. It stays at about 30 - 40 %

Yeah, for power.
But I´m pretty sure you can´t control Midi with it. It´s just a Power not a Data Connection
I was told by the SW rep who worked with Marcos that MIDI+ power was possible.

Darkglass site confirms this!!!
