Darkglass Anagram Multi FX Announced

Well I finally have mine.
Had an hour with it so far but it’s so intuitive. Going to update today and try and load some NAMs on.
But for starters, on paper it solved all my issues with the QC and in reality it has, even with the stock power supply it’s silent (QC I had the most awful ground hum), so initially I’m really pleased.

@IvanBassist, were you able to find sth out regarding the expression?
It’d be great to have this panoramic view of all the blocks in the preset, which right now is only accessible when editing bindings. This could go under a Display Preferences menu or something
Hard agree with this! Something like a small zoom out-icon on the top to enable this view would be great!
Curious to hear people's thoughts on the Anagram vs. the Stomp. Obviously the Stomp has been around longer and has a much deeper library, however, I am more speaking to fidelity of sound of the basic bass tones. Clean bass, overdrive/distortion, octaver, and chorus primarily. Any Anagram owners former Stomp owners? Anyone go back to Stomp after owning the Anagram?
Update;I’ve tried several times to register my Anagram, but it keeps telling me “Whoops, looks like something went wrong”.
My email, and name show up in the suite, but it says my email hasn’t been confirmed.
Any ideas?
I was able to get registered. Apparently I was not the only one who was having some difficulty getting my email confirmed. All set now.
For broadly appealing, general, normal, working types of bass tones, to me the Anagram sounds WAY better than the Stomp. The Stomp aliases very noticeably on anything that adds harmonic content such as saturation. In addition to that the Anagram just seems to sound more like what I want out of my tone. Once the DSP library expands it’ll be no contest. For the moment there’s a handful of more esoteric things the Stomp does that Anagram does not. For me it’s a non-issue. For others it might be. The ease of use on the interface alone is worth the price of admission for me.
Anyone else gets some terrible noise from outputs 3/4 (with unbalanced instrument cables) when the Anagram is connected via USB-C to the computer?
I probably won’t be using my Anagram this way for 99% of the time, but it did make me wonder if I might’ve gotten a defective unit or if it’s just part of the way it was designed.

The Stomp works alright for bass, but the UI is awfully outdated and it is so clunky to use and set up. I found it quickly too limited by DSP power too. Anagram is leagues ahead when it comes to useability, power and sound. But there are fewer effects so far. No phaser or tremolo, for instance. That will probably change in the future.

Completely agree with Silky on this. 100% easier to get great tone out of the box with minimal effort and ultimately just sounds better, especially drop tuning when needed.
I sold off one of my Stomp XL‘s and I still have my other one, and contemplating if I’m going to sell it off as well, but I have no plans to go back to it .

What are your guys thoughts on the octaver and chorus on the Anagram vs the Stomp?
The Anagram’s Sublemon is pretty comparable to the Stomp’s BOctave, but Sublemon tracks better than ANY octave pedal I’ve ever used, be it standalone, part of a multi effect unit, analog, digital, whatever. Its tracking is unreal. Sublime, I think is supposed to be like an EBS octave, which I’ve never used but I don’t totally love it. Subcitrus is polyphonic, and for my taste I hate it. It’s noticeably latent and sounds generally not great. All of these takes are based on a 50/50 blend. For 100% wet octave sounds my go-to reference is an OC-2, Tim Lefebvre, Janek Gwizdala type thing, and frankly neither the Anagram or the Stomp do a good job of recreating that type of sound.
The Mint Chocolate Chorus in Anagram, and the Stomp’s regular chorus and 70s chorus are all great. They all work well at doing the typical shimmery 80s chorus thing, which is my go-to use for a chorus. Slower oscillation, medium depth, unity gain, and I’m good.
I never got the octaver to work well for me with the stomp, but it's solid in the Anagram. The Sublemon is my favourite too. Effortless tracking and solid sound. Haven't played much with the chorus yet, but I have liked what I've heard so far.
One feature I like a LOT with the anagram is the option to assign any parameter from a block on the quick adjust pot in chain view. It's so well thought out and extremely easy to use. I never feel limited or annoyed by the interface when I want to tweak something, as I did all the time with the stomp. On top of that, I don't feel the need to tweak as much in the first place with the Anagram, as it's built for bass and to sound good without fiddling around with all the settings for ages in order to get something useable on it.
