And just to be clear: I’m not an “Internet Rambo” or a hater. I’m simply sharing my personal experience so that others are aware, and I honestly wish Darkglass all the best in fixing these issues.

You say this, but you've made at least a half dozen posts hammering the same issue and responding to users who are pointing out that many hardware releases in high demand face some issues along the way.

They've acknowledged and offered to resolve the problem, right? Is there something more you want them to do to remedy this specific situation, beyond what they're already doing?

It sounds like you're spending a lot of time casting doubt instead of just making a decision for yourself on whether or not you're comfortable purchasing and using the product. You don't personally seem comfortable with the QC processes on the last batch. So it sounds like this product is not for you.

The issue with knobs, is that something that DG is fixing in production for units prior to shipping? are they waiting to hear from folks who are affected by these issues for knob replacement and then sending knobs reactively? I am honestly waiting for all these issues to be fixed before I plonk down 1199 plus tax. It is a lot of money and should be right the first time out and I am really surprised to see such an expensive piece of hardware have these issues and bugs. Help !! I have fly gigs coming up that I would love to use this for. It just is not sounding reliable enough at the moment.

Scaling and manufacturing are both hard. Things happen like this all the time. It is always down to the customer support which appears top notch here.

Let’s just hope there aren’t any bigger issues hidden inside, because at this point there’s no real certainty about that.

This puts my mind at ease running the SOL with a current tripler as I know it falls slightly short of 2A with that configuration, albeit not by much.

Just been playing around with the drive/distortion blocks from the recent update. Really digging the Green PiRate - definitely more my flavour than the Duality!

Also had a go at powering it with a USB-C PD outlet from a new extension I bought for the purpose (and to plug my PSU for additional pedals in to). Works well!

Indeed! Found it on the main page under I/Os section, 1.7A. Although both the unit and manual say 2A. Better safe than sorry I suppose!

1.98A. Not much indeed! But we can rest easy knowing 1.7A is plenty.

On the power end of things, have been running mine off a single cable/outlet of the 1Spot CS6 with no issues. Max output is 1600 mA and I have nothing else plugged in.

love these usb c powering options - the same plug that charges my phone can now power my little practice rig. Etc etc.

Total game changer for being able to play in the living room without leaving things out 24/7.

Just realized I've got a spare USB-C Lenovo charger for my ThinkPad X1. Hard to read, but the output specs on the charger look like '20V - 3.25A | 15V - 3.0A | 9V - 2.0A | 5V - 2.0A'

Presumably this will work to power the Anagram? Or should I be looking at anything else spec-wise?

It’s definitely preferable to trying to combine four outputs from my Fender Engine Room LVL12!

i am here loving the new overdrive additions and having zero issues with my pedal (august delivery). there are always growing pains with any new production rollout, but it has been flawless for me.

only downside i have for feedback is scrolling along a signal chain… it is too easy to select a pedal to move in error. needs a knob twist to do the scrolling instead.

an off switch would be nice also.

But this thing is is great. i mean if i wanted a sansamp… that is 350$ + tax for me. i just got it and 3 other pedals for free! Feels pretty win/win.

Darkglass seems to be open for partnering with third party pedal makers, but at the same time, they are modelling some pretty big designs without permission, and everyone is going digital with their own stuff. it will be interesting to see where this goes. It may turn into a battle of ui’s.

Haven't tried that yet... Kinda skeptical actually. If I'm reading this correctly I can power it from a MacBook Pro power supply?

I would be curious to hear about your experience. Were you disappointed in the smaller library of effects/amps/cabs? Was it not sonically where you want it to be?
