The issue with knobs, is that something that DG is fixing in production for units prior to shipping? are they waiting to hear from folks who are affected by these issues for knob replacement and then sending knobs reactively? I am honestly waiting for all these issues to be fixed before I plonk down 1199 plus tax. It is a lot of money and should be right the first time out and I am really surprised to see such an expensive piece of hardware have these issues and bugs. Help !! I have fly gigs coming up that I would love to use this for. It just is not sounding reliable enough at the moment.

Like just about anything you read online in regards to issues with gear, you will see complaints about things that are wrong more than people saying that everything is okay. That's because it's most likely the majority of users have had no issues with their unit therefore don't need to write about it.

Now, that's not dismissing the fact that there are some out there who have had issues and their complaints are valid, but there are a lot of people out there who have an Anagram and have absolutely no issues with the hardware. Just food for thought.

Doesn't matter how expensive something is, there are always going to be issues that occur in manufacturing. All the responses seem to suggest that DG have been very forthcoming in sending out replacement knobs to resolve the issue.

Is it annoying when it happens? Yeah, sure! Calling it a scandal seems like completely over blowing the situation. Worst case scenario you could just pop a small washer in to lift the knobs a few mm for clearance and never encounter another issue.

Our team has been addressing the knob issue in production to ensure that new units are shipped with the fix already in place. For customers who have experienced this problem, we are also providing replacement knobs to make sure their units remain fully functional.

I really think they were overflood with orders from the first batch and hurried up to produce more units for the rowdy online soldier people who are butthurt for ordering too late.
And those Internet-Rambos like you or that lunatic guy, claiming everyone was an Influencer who get the units for free, always write bad comments like that to make more pressure. Sucks.

The fact that DG sends new knobs and are helping immediately are showing that they are very respectful to users for that matter.

I understand that production defects can happen anywhere, even with the biggest brands. The difference is how serious the defect is and how it affects trust in the product.

In my case, the problem wasn’t just cosmetic. The knobs were simply too long and prevented me from pressing the potentiometers, which means part of the unit’s functionality couldn’t be used at all. For a premium device that I waited months to receive, that’s unacceptable.

Yes, DG offered to send new knobs, but for me the issue goes deeper — if something this basic was overlooked, it shows a serious problem with quality control. Someone assembling these units clearly didn’t check the most fundamental things. That’s why I decided to return mine.

And just to be clear: I’m not an “Internet Rambo” or a hater. I’m simply sharing my personal experience so that others are aware, and I honestly wish Darkglass all the best in fixing these issues.

one thing is to test the switch works but another is to do a test once the product is fully assembled. It seems that the production management wanted to reduce cost by not doing a proper testing. Luckly it is a easy fix but the reputation is affected.

Thanks for sharing the video. Honestly, it should be titled “How we would like the Anagram assembly to look” or “How the Anagram assembly should look”. Because if things were really done this way, Darkglass wouldn’t be facing these problems now.

Declaring they're cutting all corners to maximize profits, using the cheapest materials available and calling it a scandal is hardly level-headed, unbiased constructive criticism

Every product has bugs whether software or hardware, especially new products. Some issues get past testing. Be glad it’s just knobs and not overheating issues or something more catastrophic. They’re supporting their customers, promptly responding, and getting it fixed in production. Kudos to Darkglass. I will be purchasing with confidence.

Exactly this. I don't think Darkglass have any problems in terms of confidence from the majority of their customers.

You can also trigger all these changes from a DAW, which is really helpful for bands that have their entire show midi synced

I've been looking everywhere for this confirmation.
So if I have let's say 10 songs with different blocks of effects, and those effects switch on and off throughout the song, can the pedal already support that the DAW changes both the blocks of effects and their status without adding any other MIDI controller (providing I have the programming done correctly in the DAW)? All that done through a single cable?

Also can you program muting the output/switching to Tuner with this same procedure?

I'm a total MIDI noob so if anything is not clear due to terminology please let me know and I'll clarify

You can have your DAW change presets and then turn those on/off depending on how you program and set things up.
So, in general yes
