Darkglass Vintage Deluxe!

Finally ordered mine! Got sick of waiting for the Aussie retailer to get it in stock, so ordered it from Prymaxe. Should've just done that in the first place - when the VMT came out I got it through them too, which arrived here about a month before the local guys received their stock.

Hoping it's not too long now though - I've got a few gigs this month and currently no Darkglass on my board!

Just got an email today. I placed my order on the 4th. It was almost immediately after they came out with the preorder.

It was my first time ordering from prymaxe. Please tell me that this is abnormal. :rollno:

Well mine arrived last Friday from Prymaxe (I think it shipped on Tuesday). I placed my order on the 3rd - within an hour of it coming up on the site...so you may have been further down the line than you think ordering on the 4th.

Either way, they had a listed release date as the 10th, and they didn't ship mine until 15 days later...so I'd still say they've got some work to do.

Yeah, I didn't think that I was super high on the list, but...

I'm just glad that it's on it's way. Had been saving up for a B7K over the VMT due to the DI/preamp properties of the pedal even thought I liked the overdrive of the VMT a little better. But then seeing the VMT Deluxe, I was sold. Was really easy to pull that trigger.

That sounds exactly like me. Wanted to replace my Tone Hammer, and was on and off every other hour about if I wanted a B7K or not...but really wanted something warmer (and haven't been a fan of Sansamp). The Vintage Deluxe was exactly what I wanted - a preamp with EQ and a mild/warm overdrive that could be used as an always-on. Took me about 12 seconds to decide that I was buying one.

Nice. I'd used a BDDI for the last 2 years, and originally I really liked it. But the more I played it, the more I started to dislike it for various reasons. So, the DGV Deluxe is an attempt at a more organic preamp sound.

And BTW it came in last night.
