This is a pretty accurate representation of my playing face. So it is an actual bass face after all!
And now in the interest in being self deprecating, here are some screenshots of me playing bass to Animosity by The Warning. It gave me Bass Face multiple times....
So we all can succumb to this phenomenon. I was playing legitimately and decently well, although a song I hadn't really played before a few minutes before that, so was trying like mad to remember all of her original bass parts after learning it by ear. I don't think I do this live, normally, although this was technically live because it's on youtube... LoL, but it's different on a real stage for money, ya know? LoL, anyways, do what you need to do to play the part right! That's what counts. (This is all from one take through the song, the video has graphical effects)
