Lomenzo was decent, but never really Megadeth. He was in White Lion remember. Big difference.

Lomenzo has an impressive resume going for him. Not just White Lion, which I think nearly anyone here back in the late 80's would have joined if asked.

Zakk Wylde, Black Label Society, David Lee Roth, Megadeth, and White Lion are part of his credits.

I just got the Peavey Zodiac Scorpio DE and really dig it! But I wish they made a 5-sring version of it.

he needs to bust out the jackson basses he used on the first RIP tour. nothing beats his tone on that album, or his live tone in the early 90's.

Saw them and he played his Jackson all night except for the peavey for one song. Great show.

Although Cliff was the guy who get me into bass, I'm also way more inspired by Newsted. I'm beginning to see Cliff more as an over-all "musician", than a "bassplayer".

I think his Ellefsons new bass sound is kinda rubbish, but it sits really well in the mix! Hartke... meh :/

I didn't have the chance to see Megadeth live, yet. Is Ellefsons sound so much different today? Do his Hartke amps make that much of a difference?
