OK, I'm so lost. I'm not a noob here at TB at all but I'm definitely not in the loop here. Is this amp company employing someone who scammed a bunch of TB'ers out of some money? Are people backing out of this conversation and boycotting this company because of it? I do like Eden stuff and this stuff looks promising.

anyway, i know lane from contact on usenet and he's always been very nice and helpful to me. i'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt since he was only taking orders from corporate a-holes. the other guy apparently got way in over his head and didn't know it until it was too late. not a good thing, but not a reason someone should never be allowed to work and support their families ever again.

Maybe he got in over his head........maybe he scammed this board in the name of charity. Based on his actions and inactions, I tend to believe the latter.
And yes, scamming people in the name of charity IS a reason someone should not be allowed to work, especially is a CS role.

Although I wish him well with this new endeavor, with the risk of not being too diplomatic, there seems to be some question about the character of the individuals The Founder surrounds himself with....
I wondered that as well, you wouldn't think someone would willfully ally themselves with someone that has spurned so many bassists. However stranger things have happened.

There were also issues with Lane Baldwin regarding reality in delivery and repairs... Was he simply toting the company line at that time or was it something in his character. I dont know, and i dont want to pass judgment.
Regardless, let the chips fall where they may and perhaps folks do turn a new leaf.. I hope it works out for DNA.. But if the same mess carries over from the last POS mess then it will be heard here for sure
