Loved the Eden sound, but left over the holidays (big money party time) amp-less was totally unacceptable.

With Genz Benz, the customer service people are also familiar with the technical details of the gear and deal quickly with any reported issues. Often the head of the company personally sees to it that the situation is properly rectified. This degree of technical knowledge and effective, friendly, helpful, CS model were sorely lacking with Eden.

Ive only ever had one experience with Eden CS. I called looking for a schematic for my WP1000 Navigator. The guy on the phone was courteous and throrough, and agreed to send a digital copy of the documents to my email. The email never came and I ended up getting it here on TB.
I use Genz Stuff now, as it sounds every bit as good to me as any of the Eden Stuff, better in some cases, and just seemed to be better "sorted-out" in terms of functionality. The 100 watts per pound form factor helps a lot too....
That being the case.... Im eager to see if DNA offers something fresh.... not rehashed, "boutique" versions of familiar units. My greatest hope is that this new company provides a 1RU preamp with some of the features I appreciate most in the Navigator... primarily the enhance and trick tube blend..... and dispense with the 42 bands of fully parametric eq....
It's the 13th all the way til midnight. My guess is some changes had to be made to the website after Mike was let go (because of this thread). Bet it takes a few more days.

I will be at NAMM this week,, but i will see if any buds that are at Load in Today can take some photos. .Its a long shot.. but lets see.

A word regarding Lane....
I have never dealt with him and know nothing about him.... but I DO have experience working with a firm which I wholly believed in, and was made to make promises and offer services to the firms clients which, although I had doubts about personally, was told to do in good faith by someone higher up in the chain that also probably believed they could deliver... but ultimately were not able to...... that's just part of corporate culture....
Mike was not let go because of this thread. That occurred at least 3 weeks ago or more. The website may lag a bit as Mike was also the web designer, or more likely accepted a fee for web design and gave a portion of that fee to the actual designer.

As for the website, it was not released to public. Yeah, someone found it by appending "/home" to the placeholder. That's stupidity on the designer or hosting company of the website, who should have known better.
However I work in IT, and appending beta websites underneath a placeholder for external review is highly common. Usually it might be something like http/whatever/beta/version/1.2x (do I need to state that this isn't a real URL?) or something like that. The point being it's not something easily discoverable by someone like "home".
Keep it civil, please guys. Factual comment, fine. Personal insults, no. That applies regardless of whom you're talking about. If you wouldn't read it to your grandmother or whatever, it won't fly here. You all know what I mean, I'm sure.
