I'm surprised at what seems like a high ending price (I love Ricks, this isn't a bash - that thing is smashed!). I suppose it went to someone who knows what they are doing. (Also surprised there wasn't a lot more comment about the final price).

that's a pretty fair amount of cake, especially when you add the shipping for a bass that was damaged so badly.

That's like cake AND ice cream. I could see $500, or maybe $550...but $750 + shipping is more than halfway to a brand new Rick.

And darned close to used 4003 price.
Not really worth it unless the new owner can do any repair/restoration work himself.

I bought a 1990 4003 with a amp for 900$ last month , i sold the amp for 100$ so i paid 800$ even for the nass, less then that one.

I paid 1104$ for 2 MID rics and 1080$ for a brandnew mapleglo , all of these within the last 6 months.

That was to much, even if you can do the repair yourself , your time and materials are worth more then that. Add in the fact I think you would be lucky to be able to sell it for that (800$) after the repairs are made if the finish isnt redone.
