@McG gigs with one as well!

@GretschWretch is also a fan of the Dean EAB bass. He has a wealth of knowledge on ABG basses

Here's me with my Exotica. Replaced the strings with tape wounds and tuners with gold Hipshot Ultralites. Love the tone and growl this acoustic beauty produces!View attachment 3126987

MrBassman17,

Welcome to Dean Club!!!

You have been officially issued Member Number 173

The Galvestons were made in two runs. The MkI version is the brown one pictured first, and then the MkII version afterward, pictured second. I have a MKII just like the one pictured, color and all. I also have a Carlo Robelli model that is identical to the Galveston. Yes, they were made in the same Korean factory as the Deans, and other than body shape they are essentially the same instrument.
This?

I also noticed they have a silver sparkle octave 8 string that I am guessing is also made at the same Korean Factory...Unsung Musical Instruments (Silver Star)?

Okay give me all of the details on this stuff! I'm a huge 12 string fan and I've been having trouble finding one that I want... I LOVE DEAN, but not so much into the Rapshody. Who makes these? I like that last red one a lot. What is it, and whos is it?

I did find a guy on here named cataldi that makes them too, but I'm trying to find all of the production models and can't find any at all.

Thanks bro... Lol. I usually do full on photo shoots of my basses, but that one was just an off the cuff random for the coffee club... Such an unlikely candidate being that it's a partial, but it's on of my fav pics.

I couldn't have planned it. Glad to hear I'm not the only one who digs it!
The 'artsy' bass pic!

That was:
@wkargel

Galveston
Carlo Robelli

Plus there is also Rogue, but I've only seen their octave 8 string, not a 12 string.
