Now for some answers;
What happened to your Rhapsody!!!!
Yi yi yi!!!
Did it just snap on it’s own?
Dropped?
Playing whack-a-mole?
My band was doing a retirement gig for this guy that had 50 years with the railroad. He also had about 50 shots from a large bottle of jack daniels. Weighing in at near 300lbs, it did not take much when he spun over towards the wall and fell against the 4 guitar rack we were using.
Do I see 5 Rhapsody basses?
Two 5 strings, 4 string, 8 string, 12 string. Nice
In photo, 5 rhapsodys yes. 12, 8, 5 and two 4's.
Rhapsody has a new neck or you have a renewed neck?
Long story shortened a bit;
That red five was my favorite to play due to it's sound. (p/o had tweaked it) I had to play the NT razor the rest of the night. My guitar took the worst of the damage.
They offered to have it repaired. I just could not live with that. The rhapsodys were discontinued by this time. Dean had no more five string necks either. Then..ta-da...
Down at skips music there was another hidden gem up on the rack. Skip must have been hoarding them. So I got it, but it lacked the punch I had been used to. It was dull like the ep5 I had bought as a stand-by. The serial number was only seven digits different than my red rhapsody. So, since my busted one was (imo) prettier, I had the necks swapped. And to this day I have a whole guitar in pieces.
(including a two piece neck)
Funny side note to it all is one of my mates wrote a song called "my guitar" after that. I will say here... don't take your favorite guitars to gigs.

right, the donor rhapsody
We are both back and as happy as can be!

The big collection photo is a bit dated. So as of 2019;
Since I got a 4 string NT Razor, the amber rhapsody (my first dean) became redundant.
I was able to sell the amber rhapsody for $250.
I bought the last lined fret-less neck for rhapsodys that dean had and put it on the black rhapsody.
The EAB acoustic electric is gone. Too thick a body for my old damaged shoulder. The stylist serves the purpose the EAB was for well enough.
