Looks like not many posts about the mule lately. I just purchased one a couple months ago. I got the 4 string in gun smoke grey, with z-glide neck. Very impressive out of the box. The first thing I noticed was the finish. It was flawless, smooth and buffed perfectly. The balance of the mule very good. The pickup make it an ease to find the right tone and sound. Playability was vey good if not great, the z-glide neck is very comfortable after you get used to it. One of the best 4 string bass's I have played. I love my new mule. Similar to a fender jazz bass. I like the feel of the Mule better. Check one out. You will like it......alot........ Now I am working on purchasing a couple of guitars.
