We probably won't be going on our cruise to Aruba in April, and we were supposed to go see Hamilton on April 19th. I don't think that's happening either.

Desperate Times Call for Desperate Measures

The bass is nice.
But, it seems to me people have lost their minds. OK, toilet paper seems pretty darkly humorous. But, I went down to the grocery store to pick up ingredients to make chicken soup for tonight; .... and no mushrooms. At all. For some reason, folks here decided to buy out ALL the mushrooms all of a sudden; and I don't mean the magic kind. I mean every single package; whole, sliced, portobello, common etc etc. Everything.
The craziest thing about that is the fresh mushrooms only last maybe a week at the outside. Why do you decide to hoard those, of all things? Insanity. Peeps are seriously panicked.

Boss sent me home today. He told me that I am 53 and I am on the high-risk list, if I don't need to be there I shouldn't be there. He told me to go home because I'm going to be paid for it anyway.
We're in earthquake country so we were prepared for a week to 10 days of being off-grid, but this will be longer so I had to make a few trips for the pantry. Sadly I saw it coming so did a big shopping trip two weeks ago and have done some smaller ones last week due to having two locations to stock.
I also double checked all of our "etc". That's also been sorted for some time and hopefully won't need to be touched.
My boss told me the same thing. Except no pay, and there won't be a job for me any longer when this whole pandemic clears up. Gonna be rough times for me and my family.

I recently snagged a BB2024X in vintage white. Near mint condition. I've been looking for one for like four years?! Saw it, immediately bought it. No regrets.

My brother flies there every few months for his check up too. He was suppose to go day after tomorrow for that and to be there for the arrival of another grandbaby. Decided to cancel. Baby came today.

@BassDaddy77, really sorry to read that news. I hope all of us taxpayers in the U.S. can continue to pressure the govt to widen the safety net to catch our fellow countrymen and women. Best wishes.
