Desperate Times Call for Desperate Measures

I like all my basses to be black on black. Maybe a stealth one day. I'll wait for the next "end of the world" I just got myself a Sandberg. Hope to spend some quality time with her during this bunker days event.

Ya might like this FrankenFender!

That's a beautiful instrument!

I laid away a first gen. Yamaha TRB 4p that I was spending my gig $ on. Now it's trapped at the music shop because I don't have any gigs left, and the shop is closed. I have plenty of other basses to tinker with in the meantime though.
Wishing you all wellness.

Nah, I'm saving up to buy more toilet paper...once a few more acres of forest are cut down to make the next delivery.

I wonder when we'd be able to get TP in .pdf format and save those rainforests...:eyebrow:

it takes less trees to build a bass than it does a few rolls of toilet paper...besides, most people have a shower next to the toilet...save the trees, Bro

Due to the times we're living in:
  • We cancelled our trip to NY to see our daughter and granddaughter.
  • Our friend from NY cancelled her trip here.
  • We cancelled our dream trip to Ireland and to visit my friend in Austria.
  • We even ditched dinner with friends last night.
So yesterday I went to the local GC and bought a brand-spanking-new EBMM Stingray 4 string, stealth black.

When the world is running down...

Anyone else resorting to desperate measures?

I'm feeling that one.
No new bikes for me, but both my babies are coming back out of storage, and get dropped off to me tomorrow.
They're booked in for servicing in the first couple of weeks of April, and now I'm wondering whether the quarantine rules will ramp up just in time to prevent me actually taking them in.

Lovely looking Enfield, either way. Is that a re-issue with a front disc, or did somebody plow a small fortune into reconditioning the whole thing?

Yeah, waiting out winter is a drag. I wasn't going to pick the bike until early April but the same quarantine paranoia got me too. So yesterday was the day.

it's a 2020 classic 500. ABS and fuel injection. A great bike if you're not interested in going fast and you want something that isn't heavy, looks great and isn't expensive.

Hope you have a good riding season!

That's the kind of spiritual guidance we need in times like these; I think I just found me a new rabbi!

We canceled our trip to Dallas, guess I need to head to GC...lol!

Would be nice. Stimulus is being worked up while paid leave is stalled, of course.

Is there a snowballs chance in hell that of such a stimulus were actually released, that self-employed, tax-paying musicians would see any of it? Just being my cynical self. I don't know that works, nor how they find me. I'm glad I have a little stash to help. I don't want to stimulate the economy. I just want to pay the truck note and keep the lights on.
