Just stumbled across this video, listen to the dynamics of this guy playing demonstrates pretty clear differences between a guitard and a bass player...pretty awesome!

Never realized all the subtleties in a bassists playing..you never really notice them...until they aren't present..

that's a great video for demonstrating..really poor left hand technique, poor intonation, and lack of groove.

If someone is making a bass demo video on Youtube they should be confident enough in their ability to not have to look at their left hand the entire time!

Watch the video for his band where he is the guitarist, I think he just can't hear poor timing on bass, cause the bassist in his band is just about as off time.

But he's actually a solid rhythm player on the guitar.

I don't know how it doesn't translate at all though.
