I just wet myself.Wasn't there a set of serial killer brothers named Ramone and Mendel?
Have you considered a Warmouth neck? They can customize nearly every parameter, and the quality is outstanding. I have a lined fretless Jazz neck from Warmouth I got years ago, it's exactly what I asked for in profile, finish, the works.
Why do so many people misspell this comany name to "warmouth"? Is it some sort of inside joke that I dont understand? Is it dyslexia? Is it a there, their they're type thing?
Does it make anyone else feel violent tendencies inside to see words misspelled or is that just me?

$500 is too high for a mexican neck..... it's a nice neck i'm sure..... but, not for $500
I know that because I just purchased a new bridge from them two weeks ago. But can't one also deal directly, sans eBay?Stratosphere parts has an eBay store fwiw.
I can't stomach Stratosphere prices, and something about disassembling a brand new instrument and parting it out with a huge markup bothers me on a gut level. I get it, market capitalism, filling a niche, etc, but their pricing is ridiculous. You could probably buy a custom neck made to your exact specs for less than that. Send it back and re-think what need you are trying to fill.

You can either way. I just thought someone was questioning the mention of eBay with regard to stratosphere parts and thought it worth pointing out that you can simultaneously be buying from both.I know that because I just purchased a new bridge from them two weeks ago. The bridge I bought a couple of weeks ago from Stratosphere was the lowest price anywhere. And I did a lot of searching. They shipped it quickly. I also bought some PG screws and they combined the shipping so I saved the $3 there.I COMPLETELY disagree... I wanted an MIA Fender Dimension Deluxe 4 bass. They were streeting for $1,400 - $1,600. I waited for Stratosphere's frequent 10% off sales and bought the loaded body (electronics, hardware) and neck w/ tuners as two separate items. Total cost of the bass, just shy of $1,000. After I bolted the neck to the body and added strings there was absolutely no way anyone, even experts could tell it was a parts bass. That's one hell of a saving.
Disclosure: Neither I or any of my family or friends are in any way financially or personally affiliated with Stratosphere.
