Dingwall Owners Club

Question for the group. If you were forced to sell all of your basses except one (assuming most here have more than one), what bass would you keep?
Well, I mean, I only have one...

;)

Though it is a good one. I'm very much a one bass kind of person.

I stand corrected on the Stomp. It's just not as sophisticated as I would like. After years with the Boss GT-6B even that wasn't as versatile as I would've liked. Not to put down Boss, but it's biased to their stuff. I see the Helix Floor as the "let's take that idea all the way" follow up. I am lucky to be in a position where I have a good job, socking away 20% for my 401k and still be able to stock up on good equipment in anticipation of my retirement in a couple of years. But the Fractal AXE-FXIII is just too much for me, so I see the Helix Floor as the sweet spot. I'll tell ya, I can't wait to be a professional musician again, after having been that in the 80's and 90's. Me playing my Z3 through a Helix Floor will put me (equipment wise) way ahead of all the bass players around here.

Yeah... How do ya like me now! :roflmao:

Yeah, that's all fair enough. And for me at the moment, the Stomp does everything I need and then some more (the USB interface + headphone out really fixed a few issues I had with a practice rig). I've definitely thought the same and if I needed more than what the Stomp gives me right now, I'll be selling all my gear and buying an LT or Floor used.

I need to figure out a way to play my Tascam GT-R1 through the Helix for the perfect practice rig.

Is that what you are thinking of doing? It can’t be as you still have another incoming and just picked up the NG3

This is a tough question though and my answer I’m sure would change many times over but currently it would be my Z3 6. It’s maple neck is hands down the best 6 string neck I have ever played. Maybe still the best neck I’ve ever played.

Which one? Cmon, for the hypothetical you gotta pick just one..... I know it’s hard to do.

The fretless is unique and cool. The AB2HS is my daily player and does everything well. But, if the house was on fire and the family and all the cats were out, I’d grab the Prima! Because, well, it’s a Prima!

Of course the logical assumption but ASS U ME right?!

Oh boy! All this Dingwall talk and I can’t wait to get home it’s been since Friday since I’ve had the pleasure. I feel the Zebra calling tonight.

Sounds awesome!!!

Thanks...it's joke minute right now, but this is the first multitrack studios of a handful of these tracks...NG3-into Monique. The current song also has Iron Either Polytope, Divaricator, Xerograph Deluxe, Frazz-Dazzler, Timeline, etc. on it...

Wish I could listen - streaming doesn't seem to work from overseas (tried multiple browsers, no joy)

Still, with you in spirit!

Thanks...everyone always thinks that's the keys rather than bass. ;)

I'll have it uploaded to our soundcloud in the next few days, I'll make sure to post a link here for those who can't get it...

Live studio on the radio right now for anyone interested...running 9-10pm Eastern.

Link Removed

That would be great. I’m on the highway now and streaming would murder my data.
