You’ll need to order the extra long TI or make up a set from individual strings. Bassstringsonline.com set me up with five and six string sets for my AB-1’s.

Took me a little while to work out what was going in there! No slap or picks, but this is my Bubinga/wenge ABHS in all pickup modes. Parallel setting first, then series. Three pickups, starting on neck. P-bass-ish, but not exactly. I'm thinking of installing a P-tone pickup in there.
Dingwall Owners Club
Should be possible, yes. My bass happens to be passive (which I greatly prefer).Took me a little while to work out what was going in there!
So it's possible to choose the serial mode on say the front pickup, and then boost some Treble, so the G and C strings would still pop though? (on my bass)
Here's a video I recorded of my ABHS (bubinga body, wenge top, wenge neck and ebony fingerboard.
I used front pickup only, a very slight bass boost on the pre amp.
And this one was passive, front pickup only with a bit of overdrive.
I don't know how much use these will be and apologies for the playing...
I'd say the front pickup does a good p impression but is not 100% there. The p tone would probably be even closer.
Thanks Sooo much!!! Iron Maiden!!!Man I love Maiden
Thanks for doing that, really appreciate it.
Wow that bass sounds so even, the high notes cut through so well!!
Must weigh a ton?
I have a 6-string NG3 coming in January, but time itself has slowed to a crawl!!!
Jesus and Satan approved samples, way to cover all your basses.![]()

Hey nismaniac!!, could you give us a demo of what your front and middle pickups sound like individually in Series and Parallel? I'm debating getting the switches for my Dolphin. When i put in Dingwall PUs and John East preamp Cheers!
Where did you get those switches from buddy? As far as the switches go, I recommend them because I love options and having full access to the capabilities of the instrument
Sooooo I should've received the new body for my Combustion eleven days ago. And then FedEx screwed up. FedEx Netherlands has confirmed that they’ve shipped the body to the States to re-clear it at customs, but after the departure scan in France there has been no scan or progress, and neither the American nor French FedEx branches have an idea where the body might be. She told me that’s she’s now officially started a search (after a week and a half). FedEx Canada has to get in touch with Dingwall to get a description of the package so they know what to look for.
Let’s hope this ends well.

Frustrating, for sure. Hope it turns out OK!Sooooo I should've received the new body for my Combustion eleven days ago. And then FedEx screwed up. UPS or USPS is what we use for all of our shipments. In our area, UPS are courteous and show that they care. I even have the driver on speed dial, and he will wait for me at a location if I miss his pickup deadline. Most excellent service.I am second in command at a small manufacturing business, and we absolutely avoid FedEx for shipment if at all possible. Both service and pricing are issues. UPS has generally done a good job and treated us right.
I have the opposite experience. UPS has dropped the ball on so many shipments I have sent or received that I only use FedEx and USPS now.
My conclusion is that it's not the overall company that is competent or incompetent. Rather, it is the individual people who you are dealing with, and who are handling your particular package.I have the opposite experience. UPS has dropped the ball on so many shipments I have sent or received that I only use FedEx and USPS now.
Ultimate Basses had a horrible experience with FedEx which resulted in the ruin of a several thousand dollar MTD bass. FedEx is not responsible for your packages to be climate or temperature controlled. They made a comical recreation of the process they underwent, but the loss to the business was very real.I have the opposite experience. UPS has dropped the ball on so many shipments I have sent or received that I only use FedEx and USPS now.
