It’s an addiction....... an expensive one. As you sure well know. The bottom SJ I sold to a friend perhaps a year ago. It was a perfect Dingwall.

It makes sense to me and I feel a similar affliction. The terms 'Addiction' and 'Dealer' usually associate with each other.

Thanks, when we started working on this one, it was our 'other' guitarist (since moved to Chicago) and I who worked up the music and groove. It sort of slid into more of a reggaeton-goes-to-Brazil type thing (originally it was almost a King Tubby style dub feel). Then the singer/guitarist in the video fused some words he'd been hold on to it and the rest was sort of icing the cake.

Live, when we do it the end extends into a much more aggressive effect/psych vibe with the bass and guitar intertwining. I've always sort of envisioned it with fretless, which is sort of coming together now as well.

I've also got similar markings on my F Bass BNF5. It's actually made getting used to a nekkid fingerboard a lot less daunting. I really dig it. This is what it looks like on my F Bass.
