I've also got similar markings on my F Bass BNF5. It's actually made getting used to a nekkid fingerboard a lot less daunting. I really dig it. This is what it looks like on my F Bass.

Thats gorgeous. I like F bass. I did want some on FB markings something like that but it was a no go with Dingwall at this time. HOWEVER,

I THINK the Dingwall spec was going to be top markings only and so I am VERY happy to see the bottom ones. I honestly don’t know anymore what the original Dingwall spec was on the partial markers but I’m very grateful they included the bottoms on mine.

The Deathmachine
The lights at the theater are pretty intense. When under these blazing lights, I reflect on images of 65 million year old amber or the surface of the sun.
This is the 4th Super I've had. I already ordered another a while ago... I can't wait and it's still a ways off.

Thanks y'all. It's NG3 into Monique though the song also has a bunch of other stuff. The chorus that's on the whole piece is Iron Ether Polytope, though the bridge section is layered with stuff to make what sounds like synth (actually all bass)

I really like the scheme on the BNF5. Those dots that ride in between strings make a lot of sense to me. The treble edge lines to me aren't necessarily in the line of sight from above.

Well, that post stole your thunder. I cry foul! Anyway, one of the best looking customs I've ever laid my eyes on. Figured walnut top I assume. And the contrasting layers really set it off nicely. And the ebony fingerboard is just plain badass. I don't think I could handle a 6 string fretless though, even with marks. My hat's off to you sir.

Well, that post stole your thunder. I cry foul! Anyway, one of the best looking customs I've ever laid my eyes on. Figured walnut top I assume. And the contrasting layers really set it off nicely. And the ebony fingerboard is just plain badass. I don't think I could handle a 6 string fretless though, even with marks. My hat's off to you sir.

I'm sure he'll forget about the stolen thunder once he has it in his hands. Not to mention when he posts it we will continue to drool over it.

you know, I'm a bit anxious to start playing it but Im not truly sure how much of an adaptation it will be coming from what I normally play. There is still a real strong chance, I'll just move on the SJ to a new home to minimize the adjustment of back and forth from the different platforms but its been really hard to commit to the idea of letting it go. every time I pick it up it seems like id regret selling it.

and all fairness to callum id have been posting it to if I had seen it!

Speaking of, this bass just blows me away!

For what it's worth, I have zero issues switching between my ABs/Prima and my unlined fretless Pedulla. It's just woodshed time, and your fingers will know where to go. IME/IMO etc. etc.
