Yep. Goes along with new fretlines, markers, fingerboard coating, etc. I'm giving Maurilio wide discretionary leeway to implement both the piezo system and the neck work however he thinks it should be done for both quality of playing and looks.
That is a beast! Stunning bass. Congrats. What pre-amp and which pickups? I think it would take me several lifetimes to learn to play that instrument. I have my hands full with my ABII fretless 5 with 2 pu's and full fretlines.

Yeah, I can definitely also confirm that a fretless Dingwall is absolutely heavenly!
My immediate reaction upon playing this beautiful Z for two minutes was, "Why would anybody in their right mind want to play a monoscale fretless when they could have this instead?!"

Lotsa Dingwall fretlesses around. We all know that SG has 2 of them, yours, AB-N's, and I know our friend FRB (eddie) has the original 'Brazil' with mono-pickup-ramp as a fretless.

I get it now that you mention it, but I always thought the song lyric was a negative. That a beauty that cost just a dollar is nothing special, nothing worth falling in love with. Or am I seriously mishearing it?
