Has anyone here done business with Rüdiger's Gear Bazaar on reverb? They are in Germany and I'm thinking they have a brick and mortar store there.. Thank you.

I have been thinking that very thing. I just worry about the screw holes left behind.
Do you think a Ding 6 string set would work for this?
I can't blame you there. How was it working with BD? What were the extra costs? e.g. Duties
I bought an instrument on TB Classifieds a month ago from US. FedEx sent my duty invoice about a week later. Although that doesn't necessarily mean UPS will follow the same practice. The export cost is lower. Plus, this bass was ordered 12-18 months ago, so it did not reflect the last price increase. I have not gotten any duty info from UPS yet, we’ll see. Bass shipped Monday and gets here tomorrow!

I never took to the B string, I ran all my five string Dingwalls E-C.
*****
I never had new nuts made, and l like my action very low, so no problem there. Occasionally, the G string in the former D slot would have an open string rattle. I just put a bit of shrink wrap in the slot and made sure to keep the winding on the peg as low as possible. That fixed it.
Is Zoundhouse.de a real store in Germany?I live in Germany, never heard of a store with that name. Google also yields nothing.
I’ve seen that name pop up a few times while searching on google. Seems legit, but I have no experience with it.Is Zoundhouse.de a real store in Germany?
Ya know... Whether it's a Z or a Combustion. New bass day is always a kick!
My digital scale says 8.3lbs! Sweet!

It's funny you should say that. I always replace the nickel strings on my Dingos with SS. While doing so I took @BurningSkies advice and removed the pickguard. Why hide that beautiful wood? The Whalepool & quilt are so nice, I'm waiting on mine to turn up and I think a clear pickguard would work a treat, it looks great tho already
