Wood matching pickup covers is a no-go on Z's, right?
That's fine. I... my friend usually goes without.I was informed that custom FB inlays are off the table currently as well.
Ha! I don't turn any pedals on or off while I play, so the shelf works just fine. Set and forget.Isn't that a little hard to stomp?
Curious, Do you use the Peterson at the 'bAS' setting, or normal tuning?Ha! I don't turn any pedals on or off while I play, so the shelf works just fine. Set and forget.
I've only used it a couple times, but I gotta say the new Peterson pedal is AWESOME. The big display is a great upgrade.
I haven't messed with the Peterson 'sweetened' tunings. Given I play BEAD and AEAD on long scale Dingwalls I'm not sure if the tweaks they've made to the tuning in those modes would be beneficial or not.Curious, Do you use the Peterson at the 'bAS' setting, or normal tuning?

@BurningSkies maybe has some better put together thoughts on that.
I just found out that my Oct - Nov due date now means end of November. That's OK, this is gonna be one sweet Afterburner. A shout out to Jason (@SLaPiNFuNK ) for making this all happen for me!I just got word mine is done and now I’m in extreme anticipation too!!!

I am using the bAS setting (Sweetened). Mostly because that was super easy to scroll and load to and I was interested in what the 'sweetened' tuning was all about. I can say that in a band setting (5pc), I haven't noticed that there's any sense of tuning or intonation being off with whatever adjustments it's made.
From what I've gleaned, you should be able to use either for your setup without trouble, which would make it perfectly easy to test.
Stunning! Congratulations!!
I got word today that my upcoming D-Roc Standard appears to be about a month ahead of schedule. They also indicated that my blackburst D-Bird, which turned into a D-Roc, is now going to be metallic black instead. They indicated that Sheldon wasn't happy with the way the blackburst turned out, so he wouldn't let them go out the door. This works for me, because I like the new finish a lot more! As a bonus, they think my bass is one that will fall into the "preorder" group where Dingwall is helping with the additional tariffs. This is good news, but I hate the thought that somebody is eating additional costs on my behalf. By the time Dingwall pays to replace the bodies and then helps with the tariff, they probably are losing money on my bass.
My new D-Roc is hopefully only a couple weeks out and should look like the one on Dingwall's website:
