You'll likely have that ground wire route to deal with then. Find a black bushing to fill it, shouldn't be noticeable. My wood putty fill and fingernail polish touch-up is hard to find unless you're looking for it.
Legend. Appreciate the input

Random question - do Payson bridges suit Combustions as well?

I'd like the black w/chrome saddles on my Combustion. I looked at the choices and four string bridges are still there.Oh yeah.Unfortunately, I think he discontinued the four-string version...

I thought they were too, but the previous time I checked, they weren't listed as available to add to cart. They are again now, so cross fingers...!
While on the subject of changing/modding - I know it's been asked somewhere but search is failing me. Do the Canadian-style knobs have the same pot shaft width as the Combustions? I'd love to swap out the Combustion knobs for the Canadian-style ones.

). I think I've heard of people doing that...Well. I just unexpectedly picked up a Super P4. What strings do people find work well on those? (Picture coming)
thanks

Are folks not finding the short G string ends up with having flat not silk at the post?
I've had my Super P for long enough to have used it on shows with three different bands. So far, I have used SS SuperBrights, GHS Boomers, and Pure Blues. I've liked the Boomers the best (and I swore off using Boomers years ago) and the Pure Blues the least. I have a set of Nickel Lo-Riders that I will try next. Unless I really like them, I'll try Nickel SuperBrights next and if I don't like those, I'll give up and settle on the Boomers.Well. I just unexpectedly picked up a Super P4.
