Random question - do Payson bridges suit Combustions as well?

eg: [Invalid or Expired Link Removed]

Oh yeah. Unfortunately, I think he discontinued the four-string version...

$190 and they are linked up the page, although I thought they were out of them - [Invalid or Expired Link Removed]

I thought they were too, but the previous time I checked, they weren't listed as available to add to cart. They are again now, so cross fingers...!

While on the subject of changing/modding - I know it's been asked somewhere but search is failing me. Do the Canadian-style knobs have the same pot shaft width as the Combustions? I'd love to swap out the Combustion knobs for the Canadian-style ones.

I’ve done this, if you order direct they send you the correct parts for the combustion.
To answer the question no they are not the same.

They have the measurements on there so you can compare (or if you're like me the bass is downstairs and you don't want to go take the knobs off and check - surely someone will know, but not NaH, he is just as lazy :roflmao:). I think I've heard of people doing that...

Well. I just unexpectedly picked up a Super P4. What strings do people find work well on those? (Picture coming)

thanks

I've had my Super P for long enough to have used it on shows with three different bands. So far, I have used SS SuperBrights, GHS Boomers, and Pure Blues. I've liked the Boomers the best (and I swore off using Boomers years ago) and the Pure Blues the least. I have a set of Nickel Lo-Riders that I will try next. Unless I really like them, I'll try Nickel SuperBrights next and if I don't like those, I'll give up and settle on the Boomers.
