Nordstrand will do custom pickups for just about anything. A friend of mine uses them on his custom fanned-fret 8-string guitars.

I'd certainly go through you for a pickup, assuming you have them in stock. I'm pretty certain I'm going this route shortly. Should I email someone at Dingwall to order the right size, or is there a way to identify that I'm ordering for an ABZ5 if I go through your web store?

An...........tici............pation.

Ding was allegedly due to arrive yesterday. Was ally psyched that I made it home from a lesson (on upright) and there wasn't a door tag signifying a missed delivery. Finally called FedEx at 6PM...and they said the soonest it would be delivered was Tuesday. For some reason it is being delivered thru what they called their "Home Delivery" service. Apparently they don't work Sundays OR Mondays (WTH?). So...rather than risk missing the delivery on Tuesday....I'll have it held and will pick it up on Tuesday.

I found my Super J a block over to the east in a neighbor's carport. Nothing like checking your tracking number online and seeing that your package has been delivered when you saw the brown truck go by and they never stopped.

We have the same house number, different streets. I get lots of car parts for the neighbor's toys, he gets bass stuff. I think our UPS guy takes a smoke break at lunch.

Woah. I'm glad that you were hip to his pattern of error! If he's smoking an illegal substance, I wouldn't think that he could continue for long there. Surely UPS has some randomized drug testing going on!?

Got me a Combustion 5 last week, but i had to take the hideous pickguard off right away :D

I read that Combustions are supposed to have a pretty classic sound, but it sounds pretty modern to me...not that I mind that at all!

Dunno man. Do a youtube search for "UPS delivery". Might explain a few of them :)

Although, on a related note, you'd think I was importing human beings with all the paperwork needed for Fedex to ship a guitar from the US up to Canada. Still, it finally got here! Now the proud new owner of a fretless 6-string AB-II, and loving it!
