Dingwall Owners Club

modern dingwall fretlesses have lines over the sides? I'll aim for that, or of it's impractical, fake it with paint.
Yes. The first 2 photos are the lines from Dingwall. The 3rd has the dots added by Mo.

Just got word that my Super P is about 2 months out:hyper:
Unfortunately, I doubt that I’ll be able to play it right away once it arrives, because I’ll be having ACL surgery early next year.
Does that mean you’ll be laid up in bed for a while or just straight legged and unable to sit with a bass on your leg? Forgive my ignorance I’m just hoping the surgery doesn’t affect your play time too much. I also am hoping your well otherwise Ivan.
Being incapacitated during these ridiculous times can be a real problem for some. I’m hoping not so much for you and all the expenses that came with the accident are covered by the drivers insurance

That's a bummer but you'll have some motivation to mend quickly!

Tbh, i don’t know when i’ll be able to sit with a bass. I haven’t played in a month, because I still can’t fully bend my leg enough to sit down properly.

Indeed! :bassist:

Hope you mend soon, but it sounds like a perfect excuse to sit and play your new Dingwall between PT exercises.

Any pictures of the new Super P?
it will look somewhat like this but with black hardware, block inlays and a matte finish + grain black accent

I spent many an evening sleeping with my bass when I was younger.
What I mean by this is I’d get home from school and sit on my bed and play bass, eventually that turned into leaning against the wall with my back, then after sliding down basically linking my neck against the wall laying with bass on belly. Then moving head onto pillow after neck was sore and still try playing bass laying on bed.....

then falling asleep bass still on belly.
Too bad I was always so dang tired otherwise I may have had more productive practice, I mean, nap time.

point is, perhaps you can utilize some bass/nap time!!! Just don’t kick the bass out of bed in your sleep!! Hehe

good luck man
