I can't because the route on the 2015 models won't let you add a third pickup, the guy says he can do a holoflash pickguard as well but I'm not sure if I'm with that idea. I'm gonna marinate with the idea but I think a simple matte black might contrast the best due to it absorbing light.

I like the idea of a black matte fade (to cover the route) to clear (if possible) so that as much as the holoflash as possible is shown off.

I'm looking forward to seeing it assembled!

Or, use a 3D printer and print something to fill the route and go clear pickguard.. yeah, thats my vote.

That way you can swap between black matte and clear guards.

Good Luck!

I have a 2015 NG that I converted to 3X. Pretty easy job if you are comfortable with power tools. If you tape off the holo finish to prevent chipping you can finish the route in gloss black and pull it off.

Here's the old thread where I did mine:

Damn dude, that's brilliant. I don't have the skills or finesse to pull that off without botching it but if I did I might take a shot at it. Props to you for that job.

Are you going combustion spacing or NG spacing? If the former I think you could totally get away with a clear guard as you'd just see the black between the two pickups. NG spacing you'll see that writing of course.
