I assume your bridge is a p-tone then?Speaking of string to string volume, i still need to adjust the P-tone a bit. The D string is a touch too loud compared to the E string

Picking up an in-stock one someplace, or placing an order? So I'm most likely going to pull the trigger on a NG3 or D Roc this week.
Looking forward to my first Dingwall.
Wow!!!Was drooling on some old pics today and thought I'd share with the new Dingwall players. No, this is not mine - I wish. And no, they don't make these anymore. Only one was made to my knowledge.

That's quite the departureI was thinking about snagging a NG3, but I'm leaning towards ordering a Super PJ instead.

Ah gotcha. So they call the actual P pickup a p-tone also? Isn't that the name of the other pickup made to sound like a p-bass? I'm confused lol.No, it’s an FDV. I mean the actual split P-Tone![]()

Guilty....Yeah, some of the people still active here were drooling about this 4 years ago...
Yep one-off/proto hollow with piezo. I think that Sheldon wasn't happy with the end result if I remember correctly. Too bad. I'd love a semi with well implemented piezo someday.
Alan (Chef here on TB) has been quietly pointing me in that direction for the fretless hills piezo angle. Really loves his.I’m just going to come clean, I’ve been eyeing the Rob Allen basses. I played a RA 32” mouse fretless at a GTG. It was very cool, and so light. The fretted 34” looks pretty cool. Beautiful basses.
That's quite the departure.
