You should be able to get a set of Canadian knobs for your combustion from the shop
They are the knobs that Dingwall uses on their Canadian built basses.Really? Thats what they are known as, 'Canadian Knobs'? The ones on the Fiesta red bass here? I would have never known.

Pretty sure fret nation has some in stockHmm, the Canadians like them so much, they bought them all. Sold out says Dingwall site. They really are perfect. I can wait. All I ever do is wait. Waiting sometimes makes positive change. I can probably do hard time and not fret about the wait..I will wait...

A question for anyone with older Combustions with square end pickups:
What kind of knobs do you have on your bass?
Have you replaced them?
I ask because I have EMG knobs. I don't know why but I find these to be some ugly ass knobs that need replacing.

Nice selection here. I replaced the black plastic on my Cirrus with some nice knurled gold dome for $35. (5 knobs)
Matched the rest of the hardware, and added some bling!

I really want to find the right Dingwall to lid with active EMGs and probably a Haz.
For a pre you could put a 2 band glockenklang in and that would give you a passive tone control.
you could even go with a stackable 3 band glock or DG but no passive tone control
I was okay with the stock knobs on my NG, but I was also wanting to 'black-out' the hardware. What is the shaft size on these? I've been pondering putting some chrome knobs on my Perfect (Super) P to match the bridge and tuners...

This whole silly business about knobs, it must be the equivelent of shoes for a girl.

Mine are standard knurled chrome, including the stacked one.
Have to check these out...
I love the Dingwall shop made knobs. I have a bunch of the v1, but the v2 have grown on me.
Top row. Number 4 ,5 or 6.I am having a very hard time over here. This is much harder than calculous. Im not sure about the purples now. Then I need to make sure the color of my pick (I play with a pick) also matches the Whalepond instrument here. All I know is black and silver are NO contenders, completly ignored. I can't figure it out.

Haha, when I got my sandberg the knobs were the first this that really jumped out at me as great. I felt silly for being so impressed by such a small detail.View attachment 4292000
This was my first mod to start removing the shadow chrome. These are Sandberg knobs and they are great. I will still get a set of canadians but happy with these. Such a simple design upgrade that is so effective.
