Yeah I'm not sure as it's not my build, but I think it could have a touch of blue in it to pick up the body colour.

I saw that one sitting around available in Sydney, and would have grabbed it if i didn't have my own PJ5 Awesome looking bass, very restrained.

Took my Sklar bass over to the Nordy shop for a setup and restring. @maurilio did a great job on it. Mo knows... that is all.

It’s really nice, I switched over from the helix. At low drive levels the difference isn’t too drastic, but once you start cranking the gain/master past 6-7 is where fractal really pulls ahead. Since there’s the helix audio plugin, I plan on doing a comparison of the two at some point if my helix floor has sold by then.

Given that I mainly play hard rock/metal, the surprise winner amp wise for me is the 65 bassman bass channel. I figured “fender = clean”, but it sounds amazing with the master cranked a bit.

All 3 of my dingwalls have sounded great through it, although I’ve only done the ABZ at loud volumes for rehearsal.

I got the 2 XL+ more for guitar but I'm definitely going to record bass with it. There's so much you can do with it... I wanted to get a 3 but can't swing the cost at the time.

Axe FX 3 is a bit overkill but when I was looking at their product line, I also felt like the FM3 was a bit underpowered, so I decided to future proof.

I thought about going that route as well, but the FM3 does sounded a little limited. I'm fine with last year's or however many last year's model the 2 is
