It's cool, I don't feel like I'm losing anything. I like my Euro! Nice Dwall though, very nice.this a rare and lovely beast! I’d be selling that Euro to grab this and then you could always replace the euro being a production bass down the road.
That bubinga body!!! You can’t get that anymore. Wenge neck too! It’s a good score for sure.

I was looking at a droc and a combustion before I got my euro. Droc 4 was priced at 18k sek (2k USD) , combustion 5s at 22k sek (2.5k USD), my euro was 24k sek (2.7k USD) and now that afterburner popped up at 27k sek (3k USD).Ive got a Euro 5 and a D Bird. I’d be happy with either and have a hard time picking “only one” between them. I’d probably take the Euro because it’s easier on my hands, but I have some unique playing issues.
Just kinda over the super heavy basses, I paid my dues by owning a 6 string thumb.
Then imagine a 6, it's worse. Just the nature of the beast! Drocs are cool, maybe one dayYou sure did. I'm assuming plenty of neck heavy issues too.
I'm impressed at how well the D Bird balances. I had a Thunderbird before, and it is a huge improvement on that body shape. I only play seated, so weight isn't a big concern, but balance still is. In my younger years, I had a Thumb 5 and loved it, but was annoyed at the neck dive.

It’s only 3k US??? Your killing meI was looking at a droc and a combustion before I got my euro. Droc 4 was priced at 18k sek (2k USD) , combustion 5s at 22k sek (2.5k USD), my euro was 24k sek (2.7k USD) and now that afterburner popped up at 27k sek (3k USD).
So all in all pretty similar price wise.
Also I don't think I would be buying that afterburner I because the woods are bubinga and wenge and I own a Warwick, ovangkol wenge... Stuff is HEAVY.

Right. @Katoosie isnt being very nice showing me all these basses I cannot have!Based on a similar post in the Spector thread, I’ve decided I’ll start vacationing in Sweden and bring home used basses.
It was his, but he sold it to the current owner. ~10.5lbs of Bubinga Wenge goodness!
