God the Gold "D" logo looks stunning! The whole bass as well but I didn't realize the headstock logo was that crisp.

I think your about 4 months for production time. Depending on build factors of course.
4 more, or 4 total? Either way that's good to know for the ol budget. Really hope it doesn't end up being December, cos of travel and what not.

This is the impression I’ve formed based on my most recent build which became a very clear and short timetable in which I was informed of basically the day they hit “go” to the time it shipped. With that there was no sacrifice in quality at all. They may have taken a bit longer thru the process if there wasn’t a “rush” on the build but I feel they did just built as per normal procedure and that was a pretty logical timeframe.
It is a 2 channel head and I tried doing some dialling in prior to practice. The Dingwall sounded phenomenal. When I got the volume cranked to practice levels I found the lows on the Spector to be overly monstrous. I dialled the bass on the Haz back to about 4.
That said the Spector bonded well with the FET channel more so and I have it set for a more scooped smoother sound but perhaps my settings there were a bit BassEe and should be throttled back some as well. where as the tube channel
Is more…. Tubey. Some more grind, mids, and bark. With no mid control on the 18v HAZ it wasn’t really ideally set for the Spector.
To my surprise I gravitated to the jazz in series mode on my selector switch.
More adjustment to do yet I’m sure.

Is it an AB or ABZ?
Question for all you NG/Combustion owners out there. The wood under the battery cover on my NG2 is unfinished, looks like it was just sprayed with a coat of paint after routing. I've attached a pic. Doesn't affect playability at all, obviously, or anything else, except I know it's there. I had the chance to examine a couple of other NGs at my local shop and they weren't that way, the wood under the battery covers was finished same as the rest of the body. Does anybody else have an import Dingwall with unfinished wood under the battery cover? I know it's not a big deal, honestly I'm just curious.
Mine isn’t finished to the same standard as the exterior (not perfectly smoothed corners and such), but isn’t rough, and has full paint coverage.
