Dingwall Owners Club

Your 6 string squad looks to be top notch!

Man, playing with other people....COVID killed a budding music project at the start and I just can't seem to get my schedule to work well with 2 other friends that have been "scouting me" at this time. I feel like if this is the case for awhile; I have to get my project studio half of my music room back in better working order - I created a SNAFFU when I thought I would add patch bays and redo a ton of routing early this year.

4 mm

A couple nice new accessories arrived from Canada this afternoon.

Congratulations - so gorgeous! (Isn't that an AB2 though?) I love Walnut, I had a Walnut AB2 6 string with a Wenge neck that I have recently started to miss.

So, I have been sitting quietly for a few days, playing an AWESOME Burl Walnut Topped Z3(x) 5 string with a DG pre, SF2s...I am back in the club ya'll!

This photo is a bit dark but it is a kind of tough to fully capture the depth and organic brilliance of this Burl Walnut top! I am loving every single darn thing about this bass! It sounds so good and snappy when playing clean and geez it nails some great sounds with dirt too...all while wearing older Nickle strings...I can't wait until my DW SS strings get here but man, this bass has the mid grind and attack that I want in spades already.
When I started to come back around to the idea of Dingwalls again, I was certain that I wanted to go Medium Scale and keep it 4 strings. I just wasn't able to get the timing right or whatever to land one and then said fine, let's see what a 4 string ABZ can bring to the table. Unfortunately, I believe that bass is still lost in the ether (still keep your fingers crossed for Mark/Bass Direct). Anyways, the bass gods did what they do and I am in awe.

Love the contrast between the body top and the neck! Stunning!

can I help? I could help but save a few photos from the listing. It’s such a show stopper.
