I have some yellowish hues from the burl top on an amethystburst AB, supposedly pre-bleaching would have removed that and made those spots whiter ?
For instance I'm also very fond of blueish/greyish finishes which sometimes look more like stone than wood, I think this option would help with those ? Since the yellow/brown from nice wood doesn't compliment such a finish at all IMHO.

As mention pic some photos of what you like and the shop will help you decide if it’s required.
I for one found I preferred no prebleach on my Buckeye burl. The maple burp tops that are more common with the flaming in them seem to really be enhanced by the pre bleach to get that common color absorption and showcase the flame. IMO the finer details are often subdued by the pre-bleach.
I’ve seen it go both ways. Talk to the shop,SHOW them what you want and go from there is a sound plan.
I was really looking at the Black Forest Green offering, the more I looked at it the more I liked it. One day I got yelled at by a customer, I'm self employed, not for anything I did I got yelled at for making recommendations. Anyway I kept my composure, she stomped off. The next time I saw her she was driving by and flipped me off. So to pull this all together, the car she was driving was dusty dirty Buick, pretty damn close to Black Forest Green. It just put me off. So I got a Pearl White one off TB classifieds. That's the story.
Well… I am official! Showed up yesterday late afternoon. Been having a blast since. Combustion 5 with DGTC and Canadian knobs. Plays and sounds exactly like what I was hoping for. Thank you @SodaCity bass and @gustobassman for taking such good care of her before me.

You know, I just had a thought. We've talked about what cool new things would be if Sheldon and crew did "import" (weird being from the US and typing that since technically Canadian built are "imports") Supers.
But what's next for the Canadian shop? As if they don't have enough to keep busy, but, surely "more" is somewhere on the horizon... they don't seem to be the crew that will rest very long.
I have some thoughts but curious to see what others think first

Headless, I recall rumblings about that in the past. Also, a longer shot, but someone asked, during a live stream, about the possibility of a 6-string D-Roc. Got all the parts to convert Moby to active/passive and up it to 18v. Can't wait to hear how that sounds.
I've been grooving on the Super Series since 2009. A couple of years ago, I wanted to see if the buzz around the Combustion series was real and invested in a gently-used 2016 NG-2. They are the real deal. A few months ago, I commissioned my last custom, an Afterburner with the same wood combination with a Glock pre. It's going to be a merry Christmas to me again - my Super P arrived on Christmas eve a few years ago.

I picked up a second black NG3 five.. I have a VERY valid reason though. (At least that's what the wife believes) Two bands are a half step down, the other is in standard. Doing a setup in between gigs/rehearsal is just out of the question.

You need a third black NG3. Perhaps one like the one I'm selling.
Rather nice side effect of playing a Dingwall.
I've always played quite aggressively, digging in with fingers or a pick meaning I've always raised the action a bit.
This meant that if I wanted to play some slap or even tapping I needed another bass set up with nice low action.
After several weeks with the D-roc I've realised that I don't need to play as hard to get punch & clarity, so now I have one instrument, with gorgeous low action, that I can play comfortably with a pick, fingers or slap.
I've always played quite aggressively, digging in with fingers or a pick meaning I've always raised the action a bit.
This meant that if I wanted to play some slap or even tapping I needed another bass set up with nice low action.
After several weeks with the D-roc I've realised that I don't need to play as hard to get punch & clarity, so now I have one instrument, with gorgeous low action, that I can play comfortably with a pick, fingers or slap.
Lots of compliments and questions about the NG3 after the punk gig last night.. I'm so used to the Sadowsky basses I've been playing that I'm still all over the place with find a good thumb anchor on the NG3 for rock/punk. The good thing is there's a ton of tonal variety with hand placement so I have some fun experimenting ahead of me.
I say "punk".. it's really just a cover band that tells a lot of terrible jokes and plays short, fast versions of the classics. We pulled out Daydream Believer for Mike Nesmith last night. If there's any worthy footage I'll post it.

I was thinking a mix of features from the Supers and Combustions/NG's. Kind of "modern" Super : Combustion platform for scale lengths and body shape but more of a P bass type pickguard with a single FD3N or their split P pickup. Passive controls for a standard model, maybe a "deluxe" model with a preamp. One piece bridge would be awesome.
Definitely some opaque paint jobs. A new headstock design could be cool but either the standard Super would be great.
