Anyone with a Combustion/NG replaced the stock nut with the black graphtech ones that Jason sells?

Yep. Talked to them today. It's because they are abandoning fanned frets and going to normal parallel frets and 34" scale. They want to get rid of all of the fanned fret stock first. Also the new basses will be made by Warwick.

My understanding it was due to The new software by submission audio..
Every band leader can now just program Jacob Umansky as their bassist so there is no need for new instruments..
