Just throwing this out there, if anyone is looking to move on a 4 string Super for a 5 string then drop me a message.

I had the pleasure of catching Lee Sklar with Lyle Lovett's large band last night. I was in the second row dead on from his cabinet and could clearly hear his stage sound. Every note seemed to have such a strong fundamental and then just blossom. What a treat!

If you're wondering what this rambling is all about I got another NG3. That makes 3 + my AB2. Like I told my spouse, it's not my fault! Each project has a different tuning and it's easier with the right tool. You wouldnt hammer nails with a Nerf football. Sure it could be done, but it won't be fun and will probably leave you with PTSD and some digit damage. (That analogy almost worked..
) AND, it's my HBD present to myself today. That should be more than enough of a reason.
Black Forest Green.. came with the black nut stock. My two black ones had white nuts.

I got my first bonus at work recently and was hoping for a great deal on a Dingwall to come around but then a Chapman Stick came up in the classifieds for silly cheap so I guess I’m going to start playing Stick this coming week.

I think so too. I'm bummed I was too late in the DW game to get one of the aqua blue sparkle NG's (if anyone want to sell one, HIT ME ASAP) so the subtle sparkle bling is a really nice touch. Green is my favorite color anyhow, it was meant to be.
One will come up for you. Just keep your eyes peeled. They are magnificent in person.
I am going to see this show next Saturday night in Northern VA. Really looking forward to it!
For those interested. My experiment is in full swing and is currently an incredible success. More mods may yet come but I’ve already taken this amazing sounding bass and changed it to a different amazing!

I dig Glockenklang pre's, but I'm out of the EMG loop. I don't think I've ever played a bass equipped with them...
My first experience with them was in LTDs and they were the passive HZs. I never could get what I wanted from them and discounted EMGS for years. Finally I came around to the sound of Spectors loaded with the active models
they are so very different from each other. I’d say they are top shelf electronics with a very distinct flavour
