Nowhere near as much as it made my morning, not to mention Pat Wilkins. This whole thing was tearing him up, he’s never had an instrument go missing, in decades of business building and finishing guitars and basses. I was very happy to send him the email with the news.I checked back through the thread, all the way back to May 19!
Two whole months missing.
This story made my morning!
Oh man loving it!
Wow that is so cool, I want one!
My god…It just turned up, delivered just now by a UPS driver who was clearly surprised by the profuse thanks I gave him when I saw the shipping label and realized what the package was.
More pics later.

Been playing more metal lately, apparently people think I can do that well... I finally discovered the awesomeness of the middle + bridge in series pickup setting.
I'll be honest, that was my least favorite of the NG pickup combinations until last night. Now I get it. It took a little more tweaking with the DG pre than I'm used to doing, but man oh man.. that's some metal & rock toanz if I've ever heard them. I typically use the pre to just give a little boost or whatever, but it works wonders on that tighter, mm-style pickup configuration to shape your tone.
So you guys weren't crazy.... noted.![]()
(J/k - you all have given me a ton of helpful advice when i've asked. Very appreciative)
