Yeah this is a nice one also. Imho the clover style tuners go well if you go full fender look.

my current take is that if i go wenge neck, the standard black tuners will be great. But if i go with a chrome bridge… or a maple headstock, i think chrome clover tuners become mandatory.

I'd love to get a 37" 5-string Super P body where the neck pickup is a P and the bridge is a dual J that can go single coil to stand in as the J or Humbuck as an MM. Is that a thing? (I know the 37" scale Super is a pipe dream, I mean the pickup config)

I thought about putting the Dingwall split-p that I have on hand into the NG I had, but never got around to performing the experiment. I think it would be way cool.

Very interesting. Particularly on the finger style, I found the Super P sounded very similar, but noticeably more mellow and smooth than the rest, while the others had a more aggressive midrange presence. With pick, the difference was minimal.

Hey guys. A few weeks ago I asked if there was a way to draw out more upper mids from my DROC. I can’t find that thread (buried now). Anyway I found what I was looking for. I’m really impressed. Maybe this is well known but this, specifically with the DROC sounds amazing. The main thing was the SansAmp v1. Again I know this pedal isn’t anything new. But in conjunction with the DROC and set as I show, you can certainly draw out those elusive upper mids.

I’ve got that version and the one which allows more mid control and Sans Amp works best with them. Just mess with the presence and drive and holy crap:woot:
