I really like Bass Bonedo's no talking demos to showcase the different bass tones. Here's one with the D-Roc Standard. The different models really seem to have their own sounds. I like the clarity with warmth that the D-Roc has. Surprising how full the bridge pickup is on this passive instrument.
Sooo.... It'll be here Tuesday. They have one left in stock if anyone else wants to bypass the queue.

Anyone else hate the waiting period when you make an offer on Reverb? Will they respond in 10 minutes or 23 hours and 59 minutes?
Sweetwater is out of the Super J, and the price is now what it probably should've been originally. Haha
I can't even stand the wait for a Reverb offer to be countered; I'd wither away from anticipation with a 2 year wait for a custom.

I was half tempted to sell some things and pick one up at the previous price, but couldn't justify it, especially if it meant taking an opportunity away from someone that otherwise could never get a domestic Dingwall (as someone that's been there until recently)

I didn’t even realize it was supposed to be in stock, amazing score.
A quick calculation says it should have been $4430 with those options, unless I missed something.

Me either man. Thought I'd have some time to save for a while.
They weren't in stock yesterday. My rep said they arrived this afternoon.
So now here I am seeing what all I have to sell so I can pay back the savings account.... Definitely going to be posting a whole lot of stuff in the classifieds in the coming days.
Does needing to supply Sweetwater now push back custom orders even further?
Or does the Sweetwater contract add more capital to expand operations and bring in the custom order timeline?

I just had a face palm moment, figured I'd share in hopes it saves someone else a stinging forehead.
Maybe a month ago I set up the Droc in DGCF. I had excitement about the 37" four string so I could have one string up in D standard and one in E. This morning while sipping coffee and wanting to learn some songs that would require me to retune the Droc or grab one of my fives thats in standard tuning it dawned on me that I have a capo and putting it at the 2nd fret gives me EADG and the fret markers (at least the money notes) are where they should be.
I just saved myself a couple grand.

I enjoy saving money. Seems like more of a fist pump moment than facepalm.
I think it's gonna affect small shops and force them to cut profits in order to compete with Sweetwater.

I believe make a specific capo for that as well.
I tried the BEAD and the 5th fret thing and didn't really dig it. I'm really liking it at the 2nd. It's more like a 34" scale.
Just measured, 32.5" on the E and 30" on the G capo'd at the 2nd.
27" and 25.25" capo'd at the 5th.
